Vintage Elkhart Lake is incredible! There are so many events that bring me to town and my first stop is always Vintage! There is such a variety from the amazing wine and spirits to the local cheeses and snacks. There is something for everyone. The owner, Jaclyn Stuart is knowledgeable about everything she sells and always makes me feel welcomed. Her customer service is is exceptional and she shows so much pride in making sure her customers leave with the perfect item. She always hand picks something special for me! I can't wait to come back!
Beware when purchasing beer/wine out of the coolers here. I purchased two beers out of the coolers while in town for an event yesterday. The beer was priced at $2.50 each, however, when I went to the register to pay the woman said the total was $7.00. When I questioned this, she asked if I was consuming the beer in town or taking it "to go" and claimed that the town has an extra tax if purchasing the beer to consume in town, which is ridiculous. She then looked pretty awkward when I questioned this instead of just blindly paying $2 more than the price listed. Since this area is a big tourist area I can see how people blindly will pay the extra but beware THIS IS A SCAM! The owners tried scamming the wrong couple!
